Everyone says, do what you love, and we normally try to practice this very good advice in our daily lives with great enthusiasm, inspiration and motivation. But after sometime, we feel exhausted, have lost interest, drained out and find it hard to carry on with these things, when we require them the most.
This in nothing but a burnout from the monotonous and repetitive routine, which needs to be converted into exciting and fun-filled routine by following these steps on daily basis:
(1) Praise yourself every morning
You are a creation of God with unique set of qualities; nothing in this world can exactly replicate your existence. You are here with a purpose to realize your dreams, which nobody else can serve or can do it. God says that the things are infinite, it is you who is setting limits or marking boundaries, nothing in this world can stop you in realizing your dreams but you. Inhale deep breath every morning and commit to yourself that today you will take one step forward in realizing your dreams. This activity will eliminate the negative feelings and replace it with new positive outlook towards yourself and life.
(2) Reward and Appreciation fills excitement
When the journey is long, it generally looks boring and monotonous with no excitement, a person naturally feels exhausted, drained and sometimes feel depressed. The only way to make the journey interesting is to break it into pieces with number of destinations. Every time you reach to your destination, appreciate and reward yourself. Implement this strategy in your daily routine, you will feel excited and more motivated, every time on task completion which leads to your goal.
(3) Do not think too much about the results, just do your best and leave it
I am reiterating as I did in my earlier articles, that we people generally think too much without realizing the harmful effects of those thoughts which were generated in our mind but were never got implemented into actions. It is just like you have bought 2 dozens of bananas but ate only 2; the remaining 22 bananas got rotten and created the foul smell in your dining hall or kitchen. The kitchen or dining hall is your mind and the bananas are your thoughts, in this example.
Whatever we do, we think too much about the results, it generally creates fear and affects our performance which otherwise would be much better if we would have focused on our actions, instead of thinking about the results.
Tell yourself every day that your existence is not subjected to the outcome; you will still exist in full, if the outcome is going to be negative for any reason. Rather the quality of your existence is very much related to the sincere amount of efforts you put in realizing your goal or dream. Practicing of detaching your mind from the outcome and focusing on the process on daily basis, will automatically inch you a step forward to your goal every day.
(4) The unnecessary tasks and the activities create clutter and occupy space
Always make list and scheduling of your important tasks which need to be executed on daily basis. Avoid those phone calls, e-mails, social media platforms which can be managed or entertained later, when you are free after the completion of important tasks. Keeping your laptop (no unnecessary files or folders), table and surroundings clean will keep your mind relaxed and it will help in constructive thinking. The time allocation to each activity will help in increasing the productivity and eliminate the scope of irrelevant tasks and activities.
(5) Avoid the arguments on the daily basis
You know that our mind is very sensitive; we generally take negative and harsh comments more seriously than the appreciation, even if those comments are not exactly meant for us.
We generally indulge into heated arguments in traffic jams, in congested metros or when there is mismatch in ideas. Practice avoiding these things on daily basis, which will keep you happy.
(6) Tell yourself "I can do it" every time faced with a problem
Howsoever, tough is the situation, your first deliberate reaction or instruction to your mind must be that I can do it. This will help you in breaking the first shell of that huge problem. When you are on journey in realizing your dreams, the problems are bound to come, which could be very huge in magnitude that you will feel that you have no control over them. But still, you must face them instead of surrendering yourself to the situation. The first step of facing them is to tell your-self everyday that I can do it irrespective of the magnitude of the problem.
(7) Try to make the atmosphere jovial, fun-filled and paln a surprise often
Each one of us is engaged in realizing our dreams by doing daily efforts, but that does not mean that we should become serious, rough and expression less. Enjoy your life by making the surrounding jovial, sharing your thoughts, plans and problems among your friends. Plan a surprise often like having a lunch outside or watching a movie from the daily routine will ease the mood and help in keeping you fresh and motivated.
A daily practice of these above mentioned activities will keep you charged and motivated throughout the day and overall, for the whole life.
