It was Thursday afternoon and I was sitting on my chair and was little depressed, not feeling to do anything constructive even after making many failed attempts of pushing myself towards the work. Before further crossing the next limit of frustration and boredom, I pulled myself back and consciously thought to find out the probable reasons behind my mood swing. I listed down all the main events which I did and didn’t in the lasts two- three days and which were like as follows:
After that I thought of rectifying every event which was responsible for my bad mood and gloomy face. I realized that it is difficult to take corrective actions at once for all the above mentioned causes. Therefore, I chose taking one step at a time strategy.
The very next morning, my energy score was +100 and went back to my work with full dedication and devotion. I successfully completed working on my next worksheet, solar feasibility spread-sheet, within a week and launched it a day before I was invited for the party. That spreadsheet is a success and selling good which is a big thing for me. I realized that how small improvements & changes which I gradually made in those last two days resulted in making a new and innovative thing, the solar feasibility spreadsheet. It actually was an achievement in my professional life and the positive response from the buyers boosted my confidence to move ahead without worrying about the results. ConclusionI further realized that the same principle is applicable for the life. If you want to achieve anything big in life then you need not to make big change all of sudden but take small corrective actions every day.
These small changes will definitely take you ahead and help you in realizing your goal in the life.
