Today I will share the strategies to make your subscriber open and read your every mail.

First of all, I would like to ask a few simple questions from you:
  • Why are you collecting the e-mail addresses of the visitors?
  • What is the point of having an e-mail list for you?
  •  Why are the visitors subscribing to your newsletter?

The visitors are subscribing to the newsletter, not for the sake of building your e-mail list.

And what is the use of an email list if you are not using it for adding value and growing your blog or online business.

They subscribed because they want to feel special and would like to have personalized attention from you.

They expect something new, interesting and fresh from you, every time they open their mail.
​
Their e-mail addresses are the open windows for you to showcase the content and products in an exciting and interesting way to your subscribers.

You should design every mail in such a way that the subscribers are compelled to read it and take action which you from them.

So, let us learn and understand the strategies:

Offer free e-book

Offer a free e-book to every visitor who subscribes to your newsletter. This free e-book is the first step to create interest in your content and make them wait for the next update.

With the advent of internet technology, we are bombarded with information, giving the options to the readers to read content of their choice and freedom to switch to another blog in a matter of seconds if they don’t find it interesting.

This has greatly reduced the attention time of the readers.

Therefore, your e-book should be crisp and concise, letting them know what your blog does and how they can benefit from it?

For this, share the tools, products, and the services which on using by the people actually gave very good results.

Authenticate it by sharing interesting true stories of the entrepreneurs who on implementing these strategies immensely benefited and actually grew their blog or the online business to the next level.


Fresh post


There is nothing like sharing fresh content  among your readers.

Can you guess why they subscribed to your blog?

It is because they found your content fresh and engaging and expect the same in the future also.

If for any reason they stop getting the fresh post on a regular basis, they will lose interest in your blog, and finally they will unsubscribe it.

Sometimes, it may not be possible to draft the new post. On the other side, there are many old posts which need updating.

You can edit, refresh the old post and share among your subscribers.
In this way, you are going to see more open rates than before.

Discount with limited offer


Your subscribers are your special guest who has shown interest and confidence in your blog and business.

Now, it’s your turn to reciprocate by offering discount on your product and services.

This way you will make them your loyal customer.

Remember to make your discount offer for a limited period of time, creating a sense of urgency and making them to act on time.

Affiliate


Why not offer them to become the affiliate?

This strategy will serve a dual purpose. First, they already like your content hence will read the post and another you are giving an option to earn by becoming an affiliate make them super excited to open your every mail.

This strategy will boost your click rates and you will get more readership of your e-mails.

Right timing


Anything which is done at right time attracts the more visitors.
You need to decide what could be the right time for your readers so that they can read your mail with peace.
  • When your visitors are free and relaxed?

Maybe during lunchtime, in the evening or in the weekends?

You can spread and divide your e-mails during these time-periods
I’m sure you will receive more clicks than before and your product sales will increase. ​

Amazing subject line


I must that the first and foremost thing that a receiver reads is the subject line of the e-mail. Your subject line should be attractive so that the reader is compelled to click and read.

It should be:
  • Clear
  • Compact and precise
  • Urgent and motivating
  • Personalized

Right categorization


Maybe all the subscribers are not interested in reading the same material. You need to categorize them on the basis of their interest.

Some may be interested in knowing business ideas while others may be more interested in growing their business.

So, categorize and group them on the basis of their interest.

Re-send after a gap


It is not the people are interested in reading the mail it could be like they didn’t get enough time to check and read your mail.
So, the best strategy is to re-send after some time, you will receive more clicks.

You have understood the strategy but may be surprised that how to actually do the categorization, make a group, scheduling the post at different times and personalizing the e-mails.

Because with time your e-mail list will grow and it will become difficult to send personalized e-mail one by one to every subscriber.

You need to automate your e-mails which can do all the above things in less time without actually affecting the quality.

  • A post
  • Freebie
  • A video
So that your reader gets a schedule for the program, increasing open rates and share rates.
